Episode 1: Pilot
McKinley High School's Glee Club used to be at the top of the show choir world and the best thing about the school, but years later a series of scandals have turned the once amazing club into a haven for social outcast and misfits. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) has offered to take on the task of restoring the Glee Club back to its former glory. Even with the help of fellow teacher/guidance counselor Emma Pillsburry (Jayma May), it is not going to be an easy task, since the stars of the club at the start include, Kurt (Chris Colfer), a nerdy, dramatic yet fashionable soprano; Mercedes (Amber Riley), a dynamic diva in training who will not sing back up; Arty (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist who is in a wheelchair and attracts a lot of bullies; Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), a shy, awkward girl who has a stutter. The only true talents in the beginning are Rachel (Lea Michele), a perfectionist who thinks glee club is her ticket to stardom and will do anything to get there; and Finn (Cory Monteith), the popular high school quarterback with good looks and great voice. But Finn must protect his cool reputation and stay with his hot cheerleader girlfriend Quinn (Dianna Agron), and to be able to hang out with is arrogant best friend Puck (Mark Salling). Even after all that Will's wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) is against the idea to and thinks that he is crazy for trying. Even after that Will still has to deal with the cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), who is a tyrant at the school and thinks glee club is a waist of time and funding and will do everything to try and shut the glee club down. Will Schuester is determined to do whatever it takes to make the Glee Club work even with all the odds against him.
So that is a short summary of the first episode of Glee. One of my friends mentioned that I should post about all the episodes before the season finale tomorrow night but I don't think I would even be able to do all of them if I tried. So what I'm gonna do is try and post either every day or every other day about the Glee episodes. So I'm sorry I can't get you guys caught up for the season finale tomorrow night but you should still watch it if you want to it is going to be great!!!!!
