My Review

Episode 2: Showmance

This episode I found episode funny and intense at the same time. The song choice for this episodes was really good. The songs that I thought were the best were Gold Digger(by Kanye West) sung by Mercedes, Take a Bow (By Rhianna) sung by Rachel. I think the Rachel is a great character and Lea Michele plays her perfectly ( and I'm not just saying that because I think Lea Michele is an amazing actor). This episode is also good because it brings competition to the Glee Club when Quinn, Brittany, and Santana join the Glee Club.

My Review

So far I have given you the synopsis on 4 episodes, but I realized I have never given you my opinion on the episodes and honestly blogs are about opinions. So I'm going to give you my opinion on the past episodes that I have given a synopsis on already.

Episode 1: Pilot
As everyone knows the Pilot episode is the most important episode. I fell in love with the show in the first episode. When I was watching the episode I felt that the show was very true to high school in real life and also at the same time totally not like real life high school. But the show does pointed out that people do get picked on because they are different like in the beginning when Kurt is thrown into the dumpster because he is gay. And it also shows the same thing when Finn tries to do join Glee Club in the beginning and the rest of the guys on the football team shout him with paintball guns. But in the end it also shows that if someone is your true friend they should understand when you want to try something different and that when you work together you can do the unbelievable.

Episode 4

Episode 4: Preggers

Kurt tries out for the Football team and becomes the kicker on the team to make his dad happy after his father found him, Tina, and Brittany in unitards dancing to Beyonce's Single Ladies. Kurt tells his dad that it is a new technique to help him practice for being on the football team.

Meanwhile, Will and Terri are given some advice about childbirth by Terri's sister Kendra (played by Jennifer Aspen). When Will leaves the room Terri breaks down and tells her sister about the fake pregnancy and of course Kendra tells Terri to continue to lie and find a way to get a baby.

Rachel is upset because Will has given the solo in Glee's new song this week to Tina.

Finn helps Kurt with football but is not happy with Kurt's plans to use music from practice in front of the team. Ken tells the team that they need a new kicker then Kurt starts up "Single Ladies." The team starts to laugh as Kurt does a little of the routine in the beginning then kicks the football and amazes them and ends up as the new kicker on the team.

Quinn tells Finn that she is pregnant. She says it is his even thought the two have never had sex.

Sue visits Sandy(played by Stephen Tobolowsky) who was the former teacher in charge of Glee and the chorus at McKinely. Sue has dirt on Figgins (the school principal, played by Iqbal Theba) and uses that to get Sandy hired as the new arts administrator. This means Sandy will oversee Glee and in charge of the musicals. Sue has Sandy give the lead in the school performance to Rachel. Will is furious because Sandy has stolen his best singer.

When Will tells Rachel that he gave the solo to Tina to help strengthen the confidence of the rest of the Glee Club to help get them ready for regionals. Rachel gets upset that he is hurting her to make the others look good.

Finn walks over to Will and begins to cry in Will's arms. Will takes Finn out to lunch and Finn tells Will that he is worried because guys with children at a young age end up with no future. He tells Will he needs a Football scholarship and the only way to get the team better is if Will would come and work with the team to dance to loosen the players up.

That night Will tells Terri about Quinn being pregnant.

Will and Ken (the coach) convince the football team they need better attitude. If they can sing and dance in front of people football will be easy. Puck doesn't like the idea.

Kurt teaches the team "Single Ladies" at practice. The after practice Finn tells Puck about Quinn. Puck goes to Quinn and then we find out that Puck is actually the Father not Finn. Quinn got drunk and had a one night stand with Puck.

Quinn flees to her car in tears to fin Terri waiting for her. Terri starts to ask her about her pregnancy and offers her so advice. Then Quinn asks Terri what she wants from her.

At the football game the guys are to nervous to do the dance and Kurt's dad is in the stands. The other team is knocking Finn all other the place and McKinley is behind. Finn calls a timeout and with one second left in the game the guys all together do the "Single Ladies" dance and then score a touch down. Kurt gets the extra point and McKinley wins. Kurt's dad couldn't be more happy or proud.

Later that night back at Kurt's house, Kurt tells is father that he is gay. His father tells him that he has always known and that no matter what he still love Kurt and he accepts Kurt for who he is.

The episode ends with 3 football players, including Puck, joining the Glee Club. Tina is still on the solo and this prompts Rachel to quit.

Episode 3

Episode 3: Acafellas

So in this episode Will creates and all male acapella group consisting of some of the other teachers at the school. Will spends most of his time building up his confidence and the group in this episode and not as much time with the glee club. So in his absence the glee club decides to hire a well-known choreographer to help coach them for Nationals. Mercedes falls for Kurt and is heart broken when the feelings aren't returned. And when Acafellas perform at a PTA meeting they get a surprise visit backstage from special guest star Josh Groban.

That is what happened in Episode 3. I know it is short but it was an episode that didn't reveal much to the viewers, but it is still a great episode!!!!!

Episode 2

Episode 2: Showmance

Will and Sue Sylvester are revivals. Sue tells Will that if his Glee Club doesn't place at Regionals that the club will be over. She also points out that he is short six members to even qualify for regionals. So Will decides that the Glee Club will do a performance in front of the school to try and get people to join the Glee Club. While they are all trying to agree on a song, Will has his own problems. With his wife, Terri, pregnant and them looking for a house he worries about the cost and he takes on more work to help them move forward. Rachel and Finn are caught using the Cheerios copy machine by Sue Sylvester, while they are copying flyers for Glee club. Sue brings the 2 of them to Figgins (who is the principal at the school) and wants the 2 of them to be kicked out of school, but Figgins lets them off with just paying for the copies they made.
The Glee Club holds a meeting without Will, and Rachel suggests that they should do a sexually charged performance at the assembly. When the assembly takes place Will introduces the Glee Club then is horrified to see them do a sexually charged performance to "Push It." Will is brought to Figgins' office where Sue rips Will for the performance that just happened and says they should shut down glee club. Figgins says no they have to now pick from a pre-approved song list. Will is mad a Rachel for lying to him. Meanwhile, Terri finds out that she is not pregnant and just having a hysteric pregnancy, wanting to get pregnant so bad that he body mimics the symptoms of pregnancy. The Quinn and 2 other members of the Cheerios try out for glee. Sue finds out and Quinn admits that she only did it to find out what was going on between Finn and Rachel. Sue likes the idea of the girls being in the club, they are acting as spies for her.
When Will goes home that night Terri lies about the doctors appointment and says that they are having a boy. The episode ends with Rachel being angry because Will gives Quinn the solo in their next performance and Rachel sings "Take a Bow."

Summary Episode One

Episode 1: Pilot

McKinley High School's Glee Club used to be at the top of the show choir world and the best thing about the school, but years later a series of scandals have turned the once amazing club into a haven for social outcast and misfits. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) has offered to take on the task of restoring the Glee Club back to its former glory. Even with the help of fellow teacher/guidance counselor Emma Pillsburry (Jayma May), it is not going to be an easy task, since the stars of the club at the start include, Kurt (Chris Colfer), a nerdy, dramatic yet fashionable soprano; Mercedes (Amber Riley), a dynamic diva in training who will not sing back up; Arty (Kevin McHale), a geeky guitarist who is in a wheelchair and attracts a lot of bullies; Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), a shy, awkward girl who has a stutter. The only true talents in the beginning are Rachel (Lea Michele), a perfectionist who thinks glee club is her ticket to stardom and will do anything to get there; and Finn (Cory Monteith), the popular high school quarterback with good looks and great voice. But Finn must protect his cool reputation and stay with his hot cheerleader girlfriend Quinn (Dianna Agron), and to be able to hang out with is arrogant best friend Puck (Mark Salling). Even after all that Will's wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) is against the idea to and thinks that he is crazy for trying. Even after that Will still has to deal with the cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), who is a tyrant at the school and thinks glee club is a waist of time and funding and will do everything to try and shut the glee club down. Will Schuester is determined to do whatever it takes to make the Glee Club work even with all the odds against him.

So that is a short summary of the first episode of Glee. So what I'm gonna do is try and post either every day or every other day about the Glee episodes. So I'm sorry I can't get you guys caught up for the season finale tomorrow night but you should still watch it if you want to it is going to be great!!!!!
